About JPG to PNG Converter
Convert a JPG or JPEG image to PNG when an editor, design workflow or website form requires a PNG file. Upload your image, process the conversion in the browser and download the exported PNG. PNG uses lossless compression for the new output, which can be useful for screenshots, text and graphics. However, converting an already compressed JPEG to PNG cannot restore details that were lost when the JPEG was originally saved. A photographic PNG may also be larger than the original JPG, so format conversion is not always a way to reduce file size. Converting a JPEG does not automatically remove its white or colored background or create real transparency. If your goal is smaller web images, consider converting to WebP instead. Inspect the downloaded image before using it in a design or document.
