About Center Crop Image
Crop an image when you want to change its framing without stretching the picture. This free center-crop tool supports common aspect ratios such as square 1:1, portrait 4:5, widescreen 16:9 and vertical 9:16. Choose an image, select a ratio, and preview the automatically centered result before downloading. A centered crop removes image content from the outer edges, so it works best when the important subject is near the middle. If someone is close to the edge of the photo, review the preview carefully to avoid cutting off a face or logo. The tool does not currently offer drag-to-position cropping, and it will not add blank space to preserve the whole image. For that workflow, use the Social Media Image Resizer and choose Contain. Processing happens locally in your browser.
How to use this tool

- Adjust the available settings, if this tool offers any.
- Click Process image and preview the output.
- Download the finished image to your device.
Practical tips
- Choose 1:1 for a square output.
- Use 16:9 for a wide composition.
- The crop stays centered, so check subjects near the edges.
Privacy and limitations
Your images are processed locally in your browser; the image is not uploaded to the mrIMK Tools server by these tools. Your browser may limit very large files or image dimensions. Animated images and SVG input are not currently supported. Check the final downloaded file before relying on it for professional use.
